William Sweetlove, né à Ostende en Belgique en 1949, est un artiste postmoderne qui s’interroge sur l’idée de l’art et de la culture. Cet artiste non-conformiste créé des assemblages montrant son sens unique de l’imagination. Son œuvre reflète sa réaction ironique face à l’omniprésence de la petite bourgeoisie.
En 2003, William Sweetlove rencontre un collectif d’artistes du Nord de l’Italie : The Cracking Art Group. Ils ont en commun une base spirituelle dadaïste, surréaliste, Pop Art. Cela aboutira à une remarquable collaboration sous le nom de "Cracking Art loves William Sweetlove".

William Sweetlove, born in Ostend, Belgium in 1949, is a postmodern artist who questions the idea of art and culture. This non-conformist artist creates assemblages showing his unique sense of imagination. His work reflects his ironic reaction to the omnipresence of the petty bourgeoisie.
